National Instruments, now the T&M division of Emerson, is seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to work primarily on DIAdem, which is a data analysis software for post processing of measurement data. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about data search and inspection, data visualization, advanced analysis and automated reporting.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Research, propose, and implement high-quality, scalable, and testable designs that adhere to the company and industry best practices.
• Work following an agile development process.
• Grow and share knowledge within your team and across other teams/sites.
• Strive towards continuous improvement.
• Work together with the software engineering team to drive Python adoption into the product

Who You Are:

You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse collaborators. You model and encourage the expression of diverse ideas and opinions, and constantly look for new ways to bring more efficiency to the support for the team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of three years experience with C++, Python
• Design applications for testability
• Experience with designing software architecture for desktop products

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with Delphi programming language
