Wat is de rol?

Als Rotating Equipment Engineer ben verantwoordelijk voor de conditie van roterende apparatuur op korte en lange termijn en levert daarmee direct een bijdrage aan de prestaties van de productie-eenheden (PU's).

Binnen het engineeringteam van de NAM werk je samen met Multidisciplinaire teams: gemotiveerde en zelfstandige teams die de onshore assets ondersteunen bij het waarborgen van integriteit en productiebetrouwbaarheid.

Je werkt vanuit het kantoor in Assen, met veldbezoeken indien nodig. Je levert technische oplossingen en biedt ondersteuning en begeleiding aan engineering- en uitvoeringsteams, wat je de kans biedt om zowel je technische als leiderschapsvaardigheden te ontwikkelen.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Toepassen van technische normen zoals Shell Design and Engineering Standards (DEPs), ASME codes en API
• Analyseren en oplossen van storingen via root cause analysis en risicoanalyses
• Inzetten van monitoringtechnieken zoals trillingsmetingen, olieanalyses en thermografie
• Opstellen van revisieplannen en beoordelen van benodigde reserveonderdelen
• Ondersteunen van onderhouds- en operationele teams met technische trainingen
• Signaleren van verbeterkansen en bijdragen aan projecten voor optimalisatie
• Zorgen voor naleving van het Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) proces

Wat breng jij mee?

• Een afgeronde HBO of WO in werktuigbouwkunde
• Ervaring met roterende apparatuur in de olie- of petrochemische industrie
• Kennis van relevante normen en standaarden (DEPs, ASME, API)
• Ervaring met troubleshooting, monitoring en onderhoudsstrategieën
• Bekendheid met diverse apparatuur zoals compressoren, pompen, turbines, en ventilatoren. -Kennis van actieve magnetische lagertechnologie is een pré
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het om effectief samen te werken met diverse teams

What's the role?

As Rotating Equipment Engineer, you are responsible for the condition of rotating equipment in both the short and long term; directly contributing to the performance of the production units (PUs).

Within NAM's engineering team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; motivated and independent teams that support the onshore assets in ensuring integrity and production reliability.

You will work from the office in Assen with field visits as needed. You will provide technical solutions and offer support and guidance to engineering and execution teams, giving you the opportunity to develop both your technical and leadership skills.

Your tasks include:

• Applying technical standards such as Shell Design and Engineering Practices (DEPs), ASME codes & API
• Analyzing and resolving failures through root cause analysis and risk assessments
• Using monitoring techniques such as vibration measurements, oil analysis and thermography
• Preparing overhaul plans and assessing required spare parts
• Supporting maintenance and operations teams with technical training
• Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to optimization projects
• Ensuring compliance with the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) process

What We Need from You

• HBO or WO (Bachelor's or Master's) degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with rotating equipment in the oil or petrochemical industry
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (DEPs, ASME, API)
• Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance strategies
• Familiarity with various equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, and fans. Knowledge of active magnetic bearing technology is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

NAM as of 1st June will operate as Onshore Land plus offshore Ameland Westgate.

The Onshore assets (North and South) cover all onshore oil and gas fields including the small gas fields and underground gas storages. The Onshore Asset is characterized by a combination extensive infrastructure and large and diverse number of facilities (150+ locations) for the Land fields. Many of the fields and facilities are in mature/ late field life stage at the same time the asset is continuously bringing new fields on-stream with innovative development concepts.

The role is part of a central engineering team in the Mechanical Engineering Chapter. This specific role is supporting assets in South (NL) and as such a NL-based local position.
