Function description

We are currently seeking a skilled Bosun for a Jack-Up Vessel project located in the UK . This position is scheduled to begin on the 10th of November and will run until the 19th of December . The Bosun will be responsible for supervising deck operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all deck activities and supporting the vessel's marine crew during offshore operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise deck crew during daily operations and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee mooring, anchoring, and rigging operations in coordination with the bridge team.
• Ensure all deck equipment is maintained and operated safely and efficiently.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for deck crew.
• Assist in crane operations and cargo handling as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and order on deck and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Report any incidents, equipment faults, or safety concerns to the Chief Officer.

Requirements

Requirements:

• UK Visa / Work Permit
• GWO Working at Heights valid within 12 months of acquiring
• HUET
• Chester Step
• Relevant STCW and offshore certificates.
• Experience working on Jack-Up vessels or similar offshore platforms.
