Orion are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operations, Maintenance and Facilities (OMF) Co-ordinator to join a busy and dynamic team in Easter Ross on a long-term contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in ensuring the site remains production-ready at all times.

The OMF Co-ordinator will ensure the planned preventative maintenance system is efficiently managed, assets are accurately controlled and facilities standards are maintained across the site. You’ll work closely with the Management Team, Maintenance personnel and contractors to support smooth operations and compliance with maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and update the Planned Preventative Maintenance database daily
  • Manage the entry, scheduling, and disposal of assets within the system
  • Organise and oversee site facilities to maintain high standards
  • Coordinate client representative facilities (rooms, vehicles, phones, printing, etc.)
  • Schedule and record all corrective and preventative maintenance work
  • Support and track subcontractor activity on site
  • Allocate planned work to the Maintenance Team and update departmental boards
  • Manage administrative tasks, including purchase requisitions, registers and reports
  • Maintain records, filing systems and equipment manuals
  • Act as point of contact for cleaning contractors and order cleaning materials
  • Assist with developing and improving departmental procedures and work instructions
  • Provide general support across the Operations, Maintenance and Facilities department
About You:
You’ll be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities with ease.

Essential:

  • Good level of general education
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in IT, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PDF
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Positive, proactive attitude and ability to multitask effectively
  • Highly organised and accurate in managing workload
Desirable:
  • Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems or EAM software
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance
  • Understanding of facilities management principles
  • Experience with safe systems of work
