Location:

Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Description & Scope:

Join our team as an intern and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge digital product designed to monitor CO₂ injection and storage operations-a key component in advancing sustainable energy practices.

As part of this project, you will:

• Work with a state-of-the-art data operations platform to manage and analyze complex sub-surface and environmental multimodal datasets.
• Collaborate on a low-code front-end framework that enables rapid development of digital solutions for real-world applications.
• Gain hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, and environmental monitoring technologies.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting, while contributing to impactful work in the field of carbon management and digital innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services and front-end web components within a low-code framework to support scalable and user-friendly applications.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines to extract insights from operational datasets.
• Implement time series forecasting models to proactively alert users about trends that may lead to operational non-conformances.
• Develop intelligent algorithms that integrate multi-modal subsurface data to detect unhealthy operational conditions and emerging risks

Qualifications :

• Studying a Bachelors in Computer science Software engineering or a related discipline
• Programming: NodeJS, typescript, Angular, Python.
• Azure Dev Ops, Kubernetes, Graph DBs
• Bonus: Data engineering or data science
