Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and detailed Site Marine Support Specialist to join our multifaceted LNG and Condensate shipping operations team at the Tangguh site. This pivotal role ensures smooth cargo operations, accurate documentation, and detailed coordination with internal and external partners - all to support safe, efficient, and timely lifting. Responsibilities:

  • Cargo Documentation & Administration: Prepare and lead all documentation related to cargoes (both local and export), ensuring compliance with cargo confirmation protocols and document instructions. Accuracy and timeliness are significant to maintaining operational integrity.
  • Cargo Operations Monitoring: Lead all aspects of and coordinate LNG cargo operations and custody transfer activities. Ensure all procedures are performed with precision and in alignment with requirements to support secure and efficient cargo movement.
  • Contractual Analysis: Perform detailed calculations of actual laytime and demurrage and conduct detailed cargo analysis to ensure alignment with contractual obligations. This includes identifying discrepancies and providing insights for operational improvements.
  • Customer Coordination: Serve as the liaison with CIQP teams and shipping agents to facilitate timely cargo lifting. Proactively handle communications to prevent production curtailments and avoid potential penalties.
  • Cross-Team Communication: Work closely with BP's LNG & Condensate shipment teams, vessel crews, shipping agents, and CIQP representatives. Your role is needed in ensuring safe, smooth, lifting operations, as well as onboard documentation clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Marine Engineering, Logistics, Shipping or a related field.
  • Shown expertise in LNG or marine cargo operations, with a grasp of cargo documentation and contractual analysis.
  • Excellent coordination and relationship-building skills with teams.
  • Familiarity with CIQP processes and interactions with shipping agents is a plus. Possessing a PPJK certificate is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cargo management systems.
