Pricing Agreement Analyst

Emerson is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Pricing Agreement Analyst to join our Pricing team with the focus on the profitability of North America formal agreements. The position will base in our office at San Jose, Costa Rica and work closely with U.S. and global teams. This role is essential in supporting evaluation of formal agreements and negotiations by using Vendavo, Oracle, and Target Discount Engine (TDE) to provide deep data-driven insights and business intelligence. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate existing formal agreements, assess sales and revenue data, and inform negotiation strategies with robust analytics. This position will report directly to the Manager Analytics in Boulder Colorado.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
Data Analysis & Support: Deliver analytical support for the North America Agreements team, with a focus on evaluating the agreement lifecycle execution, pricing & discount accuracy in Oracle & Vendavo system, and providing business insights for upcoming negotiations and quarterly business review.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and understand existing data ecosystems related to sales, pricing, and revenue. Conduct Delegation of Authority (DoA) compliance checks and proactively resolve exceptions with Sales and Finance teams
Business Intelligence Development: Collaborate with Data and IT team to design, build, and maintain BI tools and dashboards that streamline analytical processes, monitor leakage, accounts performance reporting, and supporting data-driven decisions across the team.
Maintain data quality and integrity across Oracle, Vendavo, and TDE systems, act as a steward for data accuracy and consistency.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes for changes related to agreement terms and pricing within relevant platforms.

For this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economy, Business Analytic or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analyst, business analyst or similar roles
• Experience working in contract evaluation or pricing/revenue/sales/finance
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus) and comfortable working with oversea team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
• MBA with a finance or marketing focus is a plus
• Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear business insights and
recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiar with CPQ/CRM system, Oracle/SAP ERP system
• Experience in programming skills (Python, R, etc.) for advanced analytics is plus
