Job Summary

If you are a highly analytical and forward-thinking Strategic Planning professional, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in Singapore, the Strategic Planner will support our organizational growth and long-term planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic frameworks, conducting market and internal analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with actionable plans.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Support the development of the annual strategic plan, long-range outlook, and growth roadmap for Pressure Management AP.
  • Support the annual planning cycle through analysis of market and competitor trends.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials for AP/Global Reviews.
  • Coordinate the quarterly strategic cadence, ensuring alignment across countries and functions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to evaluate business cases for strategic initiatives, product expansions, and market entries.
  • Drive follow-up actions from strategic meetings and ensure accountability and progress tracking of key initiatives.
  • Maintain a structured repository of strategic data, market insights, and presentation materials for leadership use.

Who You Are:

You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in strategy, business planning, management consulting, or corporate development, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to synthesize complex information into concise executive summaries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Self-starter with high ownership, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
