WELDING QC INSPECTOR - CONTRACT – TEESSIDE

Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for a Welding QC Inspector to join the team in Teesside.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 5 years as Welding QC Inspector in the Oil&Gas industry or similar
- Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS or equivalent
- Technical skills: Quality Control inspection
- IT skills: MS365
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site
- Follow relevant specified procedures, issue the relevant Quality Records and write non-conformances reports for the Quality Control Supervisor
- Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations, the availability of welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welders’ qualifications
- Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagrams
- Collect and manage documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents
- Ensure that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier
- In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved QC/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
- Ensure the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation
RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.
DURATION: Start ASAP until 31st January 2026.
WORK PATTERN: 6 days per week.
