Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

The primary duties of this position include but is not limited to general facility maintenance, minor construction, emergency repair, carpentry, welding, plumbing, welding, and emergency tasks required to maintain the base. You will ensure the safety of each team member and in addition, you are responsible for safeguarding assigned tools, equipment, and other resources efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair all general facilities infrastructure and related equipment.
• Perform on-time and accurate work completion in accordance with Performance Work Statement requirements, blueprints/drawings and or written instructions.
• Ensure that all work tasks assigned are completed effectively and within an appropriate time frame.
• Maintain, construct, repair, paint, and modify structural systems, to include wooden, masonry, metal and concrete buildings.
• Fabricate and repair components of buildings to include, but not limited to locks, utility systems, real property, and associated non-real property installed equipment items
• Repair and maintain facility/paved areas painting and signage, including streets, airfields, walkways, parking lots, and other similar surfaces.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, parts, tools, and equipment as applicable.
• Participate and actively ensure the safety of all KBR employees.
• Adheres to all pertinent USAF / KBR policies, plans and directives.
• Performs all other duties as assigned including supporting other departments or special projects

Basic Qualifications

• Must have technical school completion or equivalent.
• Must have at least 2 years of trade related work experience.
• Must be able to utilize power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
• Must have broad knowledge of real property facility maintenance and repair techniques.
• Must have ability to communicate in native language, and proficient in English to perform assigned duties.
• Must possess a Spanish Class 'B' driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• English Reading Level II, Written Level II, Verbal Level II.
• Prior experience working for TSBMC or UABOS on Moron AB
