Primary Responsibilies
- Perform final inspections on welded and machined product ends to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Interpret and communicate inspection results clearly to production personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily inspection logs, including quantities inspected and categorized non-conformances.
- Adhere to all NOV safety, quality, and HSE procedures.
Job Duties
- Interpret inspection results and report findings appropriately to production staff.
- Record daily totals of inspected welded or machined ends and document non-conformances by category.
- Apply serialization to material using a hammer and steel stamps.
- Read and interpret technical product drawings for acceptance criteria.
- Utilize measuring equipment (dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, tape measures, etc.) to determine product acceptance.
- Stand and work in indoor and outdoor environments for at least 8 hours.
- Perform extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
- Comply with all NOV, company, and HSE policies and procedures.
Education and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must achieve at least 80% on a basic math and reading comprehension exam.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
- Must pass an Industrial Eye Exam with near visual acuity.
