This Position reports to: Local Business Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the operational aspects of local units, encompassing the full scope of Operations, including project management and control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, maintenance, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, and planning and fulfillment, or a part of that. Each day, you will be responsible for developing business action plans for the units, aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring strict adherence within the Operations with respect to policies and required health, safety, and integrity standards.

This role is contributing to the Robotics Business in Vietnam.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Monitoring plan implementation and tracking any deviations for corrective action.
  • Preparing annual budget, overseeing progress, and determining measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources.
  • Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
  • Ensuring that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels, and lead time.


Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service management role, specifically within the robotics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of robotic systems, automation technologies, and related software.
  • Certification in robotics or automation (e.g., Certified Robotics Technician) is a plus.


  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of robotic systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and improving client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve service processes.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure precision in service operations and documentation.
