About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate from an engineering, economics or similar degree to join our Early Advisory Solutions (EAS) team at Genesis Energies. This team focuses on the techno-economic analysis of major infrastructure projects to assist our clients in making effective investments decisions.
The role will give you the opportunity to grow your experience within a professional environment that combines technical engineering know-how with a strategy and business consulting focus, providing a broad skillset to grow your career. This will work across the traditional energy industry whilst aiming to provide decarbonisation solutions, and also working across energy transition focused projects.

Job Purpose:
- To develop foundational consulting skills and gain exposure to business consulting projects through structured learning and supervised participation in projects and BD activities.
- Assist in data gathering, analysis, content creation, and support business development efforts.
Main Accountabilities:
- Execution
- Supports project teams in data gathering, research, basic analysis, and preparation of presentations and reports under supervision.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, and others as required.
- Support internal initiatives such as marketing, knowledge management, and process improvement activities.
- Business Development
- Support BD activities by conducting market research and contributing to content preparation under guidance.
- Learning & Development
- Participate in training and on-the-job learning aimed at building consulting, analytical and communication skills.
- Learn and apply key elements of the Business Consulting toolkit (e.g. data analysis, presentation development, client engagement basics).
- Gain awareness of project lifecycles, methodologies, and client delivery standards.
Role Dimension:
- Works under close supervision of EAS Consultants & Analysts.
- Engages in a structured rotation or assignment-based development path to gain exposure to various aspects of business consulting.
- Focus on learning and assisting rather than independent project execution.
Requirements & Experiential Learnings:
- Bachelors Degree (or final year student) in Engineering, STEM, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in business consulting, energy, and the energy transition.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and adaptability.
