This Position reports to:
Senior Site Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee all on-site activities for medium to large projects, ensuring cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedules, and safety requirements. You will also lead the site team, define main guidelines, and allocate tasks. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role contributes to: the Process Automation business area within the Energy Industries Division in the India Region.
Main stakeholders include: customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.

Main stakeholders include: customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Site Execution & Coordination: Planning, coordinating, and monitoring all on-site activities from project start-up to completion, ensuring alignment with contract specifications, quality, schedule, and safety requirements.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Implementing and enforcing HSE policies, ensuring compliance with ABB's safety standards and regulations. Empowered to halt unsafe activities if necessary.
- Stakeholder & Subcontractor Management: Maintaining relationships with customers, authorities, and suppliers while managing subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Material & Cost Management: Overseeing material handling, reconciliation, and timely delivery while managing project costs, petty cash, and local purchasing within agreed limits.
- Commissioning & Site Handover: Ensuring equipment commissioning as per design, coordinating with OEMs, and managing the final site handover with all necessary documentation and reconciliation.
Qualifications for the Role
- You are highly skilled in project execution, site management, and equipment commissioning within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or industrial production sectors.
- You have 5-12 years of experience in handling large-scale Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, and Telecommunication projects.
- You possess thorough knowledge of electrical equipment, commissioning procedures, and various process instruments and control equipment.
- You are committed to team coordination, stakeholder management, and safety compliance.
- Degree in B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics from a reputed university.
- You are at ease communicating in English and possibly other regional languages.
- You hold any required licenses or certifications valid in India and are eligible to work in the country.
