Product Compliance Team Leader

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and product compliance? Join our product compliance team at ABB Drive Products, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our drive products meet evolving cybersecurity regulations and standards. As a Product Compliance Engineer, you will coordinate compliance activities, stay ahead of regulatory changes, and act as the main contact point for third-party approvals and certifications.

You'll be part of a knowledgeable and collaborative product compliance team whose core competence is understanding and ensuring product compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

This position is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinating product compliance activities in the area of cybersecurity, including obtaining test reports, certificates, and statements from third-party approval bodies
• Monitoring and interpreting evolving regulations and standards, such as the Machinery Regulation, Cyber Resilience Act, Data Act, Radio Equipment Directive and the IEC 62443-4 standard series
• Creating clear and engaging presentations (e.g., PowerPoints) to communicate new requirements and their implications to internal stakeholders
• Supporting product lifecycle management from a cybersecurity compliance perspective
• Ensuring documentation and processes meet the expectations of customers and regulatory authorities
• Acting as an internal expert, promoting a culture of compliance and supporting colleagues across other compliance areas

Your background

• A few years of experience in product compliance, cybersecurity, or a related field
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Security, Automation Engineering, or a relevant discipline
• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and standards, and a general understanding of CE-marking and product certifications
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience using tools like Excel and SAP
• The ability to simplify and communicate complex topics clearly through documentation and presentation materials
• Self-driven with good teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and good communication skills in Finnish
