EC&I QC Engineer

Main Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of QC Engineering tasks to include but not limited to the following:
Build and compile construction and inspection work-packs in line with the Project Completion Programme.
Create and maintain Quality Documentation.
Ensure all Project Processes and Procedures are adhered to highest of standards and are Coordinated with all team members on site.
Observe Construction Processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and prevent defects from occurring.
Carry out Site System walks downs prior to handing to Construction to ensure all drawings are in line with the Site Specification and ITP.
Alert teams when defects or non-conformances occur and perform a root cause analysis to understand why issues happened and how to prevent them from recurring.
Quality Assurance activities to provide clear, traceable evidence of compliance.
Experience
EC&I discipline.
Good understating of QA/QC Procedures.
Experience in reviewing drawings, Inspection Test Plans and the ability to compile Observation and Defect Reports.
Understanding of and familiarity with standards and specifications.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite essential.
Timely and accurate completion of Inspection and Reports.
experience working in a highly regulated industry (Nuclear/Oil & Gas Construction).
Qualifications
C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection.
Current security clearance (SC) (Desirable).
CSCS card (Essential).
Must be able to obtain SC clearance.
ISO 9001 Certified (Desirable).
