Vendavo Pricing Analyst

Emerson is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendavo Pricing Analyst. This position will be based in San José, Costa Rica. This role will play a critical part in ensuring stability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our Vendavo pricing platform. You will oversee day-to-day system operations, coordinate enhancements and issue resolutions, and partner with global and regional teams to drive data quality and process efficiency across pricing workflows.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
• System Support: Manage daily Vendavo operations, ensuring data accuracy and system performance. Handle user setups, access management, and approval group maintenance.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for user issues. Troubleshoot and document bugs or data errors and work with the Product Owner and support teams to resolve them quickly.
• Testing: Support testing for enhancements, updates, and fixes. Execute test scripts, document results, and help coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Data & Reporting: Monitor system data to ensure accuracy across Vendavo and Oracle. Build and maintain reports that track requests, turnaround time, and performance metrics.
• Enhancements: Assist the Product Owner in evaluating and implementing system changes. Gather user feedback, test updates, and support rollout activities.
• Documentation & Training: build and maintain user guides and quick-reference materials.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and recommend ways to improve accuracy, speed, and user experience.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Product Owner, pricing, IT, and world area teams to support global alignment and continuous improvement.

For this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in system administration, business system support, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience supporting or maintaining Vendavo or comparable pricing/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English.
Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
• Experience supporting pricing or commercial systems in a global organization.
• Familiarity with ticketing or workflow management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional testing and change management activities.
• Advanced Excel or data visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
