Are you passionate about advanced power system studies and eager to help integrate renewable energy into tomorrow's grid? Then this might be the role for you!
As a Power System Study Engineer, you'll play a key role in conducting advanced electrical studies that ensure grid compliance and enable the seamless integration of renewable energy sources. You'll work with photovoltaic (PV) systems, wind power plants (WPP), and hybrid configurations that combine PV, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and emerging Power-to-X (PtX) technologies.
You'll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop models, run simulations, and strengthen the technical foundation for grid connection and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, harmonic analysis, dynamic simulations (RMS), and transient studies (EMT)
- Conduct grid code compliance assessments for renewable energy projects, including hybrid and PtX plants
- Develop and maintain models in tools such as PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory
- Prepare technical reports, study documentation, and grid connection applications
- Collaborate with project teams, TSOs, and developers to ensure study accuracy and regulatory alignment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of study methodologies and modeling practices
- Stay updated on relevant grid codes, standards, and emerging technologies in the power system domain
Qualifications for the role
- B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in power system analysis or grid compliance studies
- Proficiency with power system simulation tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD
- Experience with hybrid energy systems (PV, BESS, PtX) and Energinet grid code requirements
- Experience with Python scripting and familiarity with model integration (FMU, .dll, DSL/DPL) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
