This Position reports to:
Manager, Project Management

Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing the order-to-delivery process for ABB's electric motor customer projects at the ABB Large Motors and Generators factory in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. You will lead your own customer project portfolio and ensure high-quality customer experience, as well as the fulfillment of customer requirements and objectives throughout the various phases of the projects. You will work closely with ABB's sales units and customers, as well as with internal stakeholders at the production site.

The role requires presence at the Pitäjänmäki site for at least 50% of working hours.

Your responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of customer projects, ensuring smooth execution from order to delivery
• Collaborating closely with various factory functions to meet project requirements and to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
• Driving project success by achieving set objectives, fulfilling contractual obligations, and exceeding customer expectations
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, including occasional business travel
• Analyzing project execution plans, sharing insights and lessons learned, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Your background

• You have worked as a project manager for couple years and have experience in managing large and complex customer delivery projects in global markets, particularly in the field of electrical or mechanical products
• Proven ability to work in customer-facing roles, with strong skills in managing delivery scope, costs, and schedules
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and facilitate complex problem-solving in occasionally fast-paced environments
• A collaborative and committed team player who can foster effective cooperation across diverse stakeholder groups
• You are fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• You hold a M.Sc. in engineering, business, or another relevant field
• Experience with SAP ERP systems and/or electric motors is considered an advantage
