Roles and Responsibilities
- Leads continuous improvement efforts and coaches peers on tools and strategies to benefit operating metrics. Drives operating cadences within team and supports problem solving efforts as needed.
- Represents team as FLIGHT DECK focal
- Partners with Operations leaders across Procurement and Supplier Management to share best practices and standardize outputs.
- Facilitates strong partnership across key functions - including Buying, Engineering, Program Management, etc.
- Accountable for executing obsolescence orders in a timely manner, coordinating across functions both internal and external to GE Aerospace.
- Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Operates in gray space to provide structure and process rigor.
- Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
- Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Sourcing/Procurement and/or Supplier Relationship Management/Customer Service

- Experience within procurement, ideally in Aerospace sector
- Established project management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
