We're looking for a Vetting Team Leader to join our fast-paced HR People Services Team-the face of HR across the business. This team delivers high-quality support to employees and managers, combining passion, precision, and compliance in everything we do.

Your Role

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Vetting Advisors and Administrators, creating a high-performing, motivated, and well-trained unit.
• Manage service delivery, ensuring vetting operations meet business needs with excellent customer service and full compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
• Own your own caseload, handling complex vetting cases and providing expert guidance to the business.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex cases and ensuring vetting standards are upheld.
• Drive continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements to future-proof our service.
• Oversee global collaboration, maintaining relationships with and ensuring high standards from our People Hub team in Bangalore.
• Build strong relationships, working closely with our employees, third-party providers, clients, and other vetting agencies.
• Support strategic reporting, providing insights and analysis to the Vetting Manager and senior leadership.

About you

• Proven experience in team leadership and line management.
• Knowledge of security vetting processes, preferably NSV and ONR.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to prioritise, adapt, and manage high workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Credibility to influence at all levels, internally and externally.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Analytical thinking and sound judgement in complex case management.
• National Security Vetting will be required to undertake the role (Essential).

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
