Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and improve transport/documentation processes. Each day, you will ensure goods are received and shipped while meeting quality, legal, and cost parameters. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing inbound and/or outbound processes and delivery of goods to external and internal clients.

This role is contributing to the ABB Installation Products Monterrey in Monterrey.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Planning, executing, and monitoring transport-related activities within a local unit, ensuring high-quality transport operations.
• Generating the required transportation documentation and ensuring completeness of documentation.
• Managing operational relationships with transport suppliers and implementing all transportation-related plans and processes.
• Validating transportation invoices and ensuring proper allocation and visibility of expenses.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in working with trade control systems and the electric maquiladora market
• You have 1 years of experience in customs and transports
• Bachelor's degree in International Trade or related preferrably
• Highly adept in trade control systems
• You are passionate about team work, communication, proactive
• Proven experience of trade, customs, transportations
• You are at ease communicating in English in an intermediate level
