Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR's enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract's original prime contractor. Job Summary

As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will receive, organize, and issue gauges and fixtures stored in tool crib area, prepare and issue tooling to operators for upcoming jobs according to shop demand, and coordinate with peers and supervisor to ensure equipment complies with customer specification prior to issuance.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of equipment.
  • Establish and communicate completion dates for deliverables.
  • Administratively receive equipment and coordinate with leads to process them back into our system.
  • Coordinate the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.
  • Coordinate with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate regarding logistical functions performed under the contract.
  • Coordinate and conduct pick-up and delivery of measuring equipment with customers, employees, and management.
  • Follow established standard work instructions ensuring quality throughout the processes.
  • Package equipment for shipping, ensuring all required paperwork is attached appropriately and billing the appropriate accounts.
  • Contact vendors by mail, email, or phone to coordinate RMA/RFQ's, expected completion, tracking of shipments.
  • Update systems to reflect the most current status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Requires the ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
  • Must have experience in a high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or commercial aircraft environment.
  • Must have a valid Driver's license.
  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
