The Estates Intelligence model and our 6 A methodology; Aggregation, Automation, Asset Management, Assurance, Audit and Analytics, enable the strategic management of estates and facilities services, which is an evolving model in the FM market.
As part of the ongoing growth of its Estates Intelligence, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future public sector Estates Intelligence contracts.
About the Role
The Client Insight & Analytics Lead will report to the Senior Business Intelligence Manager and operate as part of the Estates Intelligence BI team. This team delivers data-driven insights across multiple projects, addressing estates and facilities challenges and enabling informed decision-making for both internal stakeholders and clients. The Client Insight & Analytics Lead acts as the primary contact for insight delivery and BI related activities within assigned business areas. Delivers actionable analytics, ensures reporting quality, and drives benchmarking and continuous improvement. Works closely with Hub specialists to maintain consistency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Insight Advisory
- A trusted member of the BI team assigned to a dedicated business area.
- Build strong relationships, understanding stakeholder goals, challenges and information needs.
- Translate non‑technical questions into structured analytical requests for the Hub.
- Facilitate discussions, workshops, and prioritisation sessions to shape reporting roadmaps.
Analysis, Interpretation & Storytelling
- Review, interpret and sense‑check outputs produced by the Hub.
- Convert complex analytical results into clear narratives tailored for non‑technical audiences.
- Present insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring decisions, risks and actions are clearly understood.
- Produce engaging slide decks, storyboards and commentary that highlight drivers, trends and opportunities.
Discovery & Requirements Definition
- Elicit reporting needs, clarify objectives, and define success criteria.
- Develop high‑quality report specifications and business requirements for Hub developers.
- Ensure requirements align with existing data models, governance standards, and best practice.
Data Quality & Governance
- Validate key metrics and ensure outputs meet stakeholder expectations.
- Support data quality checks, raise defects, and help maintain metric traceability.
- Ensure consistent interpretation and use of KPIs across the estate.
Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement
- Lead benchmarking activities across contracts or portfolios.
- Work with stakeholders to establish feedback loops and evaluate the impact of insight‑driven actions.
- Identify opportunities for improved reporting, better decision support, and process optimisation.
Collaboration with the Hub
- Partner closely with BI Analysts & Developers
- Ensure development requests are well documented, prioritised, and aligned to business value.
- Work as a single team to drive consistent insight standards across the organisation.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- 5+ years delivering analysis, insight, or consultancy to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience presenting insights and influencing decision‑makers.
- Highly skilled in data storytelling, visual interpretation, and shaping actionable recommendations.
- Ability to write clear business requirements, report specifications and process documentation.
- Comfortable reviewing Power BI outputs and understanding report logic (without needing to build complex models).
- Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Power BI ecosystem and Fabric (to understand, not to build).
- Experience with predictive analytics, applied statistics, or machine‑learning concepts.
- Exposure to Power Platform, automation or workflow optimisation.
- Knowledge of estates/facilities, FM environments or CAFM systems.
- Awareness of DevOps or BI development lifecycle practices.
