Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Strategy
- Provide strategic direction, leadership, and decision-making across the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement the project execution plan in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead project initiation, feasibility, FEED, EPC/EPCIC phases, and handover to operations.
2. Project Planning & Execution
- Oversee the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up are executed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client, joint venture partners, and key stakeholders.
- Manage contractual relationships, resolve disputes, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver high-level project status reports to executives and stakeholders.
4. Commercial & Contract Management
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Control project costs, manage change orders, and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
5. Risk, Safety & Quality Management
- Lead project risk management, identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks.
- Ensure all project activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
- Maintain quality control procedures and ensure deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, construction, procurement, commissioning, and support services.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree (B. Sc) in Mechanical/ Chemical / Structural.
- Professionally qualified engineer and / or member of professional Project management association.
- At least 20 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in both on shore and offshore facilities, at least 10 years' experience in project management roles.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 35 years spent on offshore projects.
- Experienced in project management techniques and contract management.
