Job Summary
The Infrastructure and Special Projects Leader is a critical role within Edison Works, responsible for driving the organization's infrastructure strategy, managing investment projects, and supporting special initiatives. This role ensures the effective deployment of investment dollars aligned with the Edison Works mission and facilitates successful approvals of capital projects through senior GE Aerospace leadership. The leader will oversee infrastructure projects across office, manufacturing, assembly and test environments, while also contributing to Edison Works strategic initiatives.

Job Summary

The leader will oversee infrastructure projects across office, manufacturing, assembly and test environments, while also contributing to Edison Works strategic initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Investment Leadership:
- Lead the Investment Review Board to evaluate, prioritize, and approve capital investments that align with Edison Works' strategic objectives.
- Ensure consistency in the approach to deploying investment dollars to maximize impact and support organizational goals.
Infrastructure Strategy and Project Management:
- Develop framework for executing infrastructure projects for office, manufacturing, and assembly facilities to support cost management and operational excellence and growth.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure projects with business needs and long-term objectives.
- Facilitate annual multi year capital project forecast for strategic planning and development of next year P&E allocation for Edison Works business.
Special Projects Support:
- Provide leadership and expertise for special projects, including representing Edison Works Supply Chain Business Development activities
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Capital Project Approval Coordination:
- Coach and guide Edison Works leadership on preparation of investment proposals to the Capital Council, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
- Coordinate Capital Investment processes and business needs across Edison Works product lines, supply chain, engineering, security and leadership.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in infrastructure planning, investment management, and project execution.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve outcomes.
Change Management
- Ability to lead organizational changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong adaptability to evolving business needs and priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university + Minimum of 5 years of experience in driving the organization's infrastructure strategy, managing investment projects,
- Experience:
- Proven experience in infrastructure strategy, capital investment approval and project leadership within manufacturing, assembly, or office environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in Supply Chain and new product development
- Deep domain knowledge and experience in Fixed Asset Management System (FAMS).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business financials, especially as related to capital investment
- Understanding and working knowledge of Flight Deck
- Must be US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Security Clearance
