We are currently seeking a Modularization Head reporting directly to Center Head to join our Production team based in Dahej, India.

About the Role

The candidate must possess around 18+ years of experience in the following Sub-functions / Areas:

Production Planning & Control (Fabrication - Piping Spools/ Heavy Structures, Assembly - Process Modules)

• Detail Planning for Fabrication & Painting of all components- Structures, Piping, Equipment.
• Detail Planning for Assembly of all Fabricated & FIM Components into a modularized product.
• Plan workflow and schedules for all modularized products- PAR, PAU, Heaters, Convection Modules.
• Planning for all Project Resource Requirements Skilled & Unskilled Manpower, Supervisory Staff, Cutting & Welding Machines, Scaffolding, Cranes & material handling equipment, Yard Area, etc.
• Review & Monitor production progress & status, resolve constraints and ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure adherence to all project specifications / requirements.
• Ensure smooth flow of materials and availability of resources to get planned manpower productivity.
• Monitor and analyze delays / quality issues with root cause to reduce its impact on Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
• Ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration & coordination with other departments and subcontractors.
• Regular review and monitoring of subcontractor performance & resources to ensure HSE, Quality, Cost & Delivery.

Safety & Environment

• Developing SOPs, JSA, for Safe Fabrication & Assembly of modularized products.
• Lead/Support/Develop best practices and efforts with support from HSE team.
• Ensure excellent HSE Controls in Material Handling, Working at Height, & Electrical safety.
• Guide, Support, & Control Subcontractors for ensuring adherence to all HSE requirements.

Change Management

• Take initiatives to continuously improve the processes and systems for fabrication of all modularized products.
• Identify opportunities for joint improvement projects and collaboration among all departments and vendors.
• Assist in new modularized product development and in quality / productivity enhancements.

Project Management

• Work in close coordination with Project Management Team for ensuring Quality, Delivery, & Cost.
• Support the Project Manegement team in planning & in providing timely inputs on requirement of Resources.
• Timely Mitigation of Project Execution Risks.

Operational Excellence & Yard Upkeep

• Ensure implementation of QMS, EMS, OHSMS, and Operational Excellence guidelines for continuous improvement and maintaining standards in HSE & 5S.
• Coordinate and timely execution and commissioning of new development initiatives for improvements.
• Use of Digitization tools for planning & monitoring of projects.

Customer centricity

• Build a customer-oriented mindset both for internal & external customers.
• Timely Managing customer visits / queries / complaints.

Qualification/ Requirements:

• B.E Mechanical, Production
• Specific experience of Fabrication & Assembly of Modularized Products at Large Fabrication Yards & Construction Sites
• Minimum +18 years in Fabrication of Equipment, Piping, Structures and Assembly of Process Modules / Skids.
• Strong working knowledge of Pressure Vessels & Exotic Piping Spools / Heavy Structures / Process Modules.
• Good knowledge of Materials, Quality, NDT, & Welding Processes.
• Knowledge of assembly sequences of modularized products - PAR, PAU, Heater Convection Modules.
• Adequate knowledge of Quality Control and on codes standards such as DIN, ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS.
• Self-starter and strong team player.
• People Manager with good communication skills.
• Planning & Monitoring on Primavera / MS Project, MS-Office.
• Experience & Exposure in Cutting & Welding Processes & Machines, Cranes & Material Handling Equipment.

Key Skills:

• Excellent Control on Subcontractors for Schedule, Quality, and HSE
• Fabrication / Construction of Skids, Modules and Modularized Products
• Quality & Inspection in fabrication & assembly of structures, piping spools, & equipment
• Strong in Managing large team of Supervisory Staff & Engineers (+25 nos.) and Skilled Manpower (+500 nos.)
• Excellent Knowledge in Detail Planning & Monitoring.
