About the mission we offer you:

Digitization of documentation for an ethane cracker proposal

Technip Energies is a global leader in the ethylene industry, holding between 40 and 50% of the market licenses. We have expertise in the design and construction of large ethylene plants and their expansion.

As a licensor, we offer various process schemes for the production of olefins from gas and liquid feeds.
Efficiency in responding to calls for tenders is essential and is a focus of continuous improvement, while maintaining a commitment to excellence.

The mission of the internship is to improve and optimize the tools for the design and construction proposals of steam cracker projects.
As part of this internship, you will be integrated into the Processes and Technologies division teams and will work, under the supervision of an experienced engineer and with the support of the entire team, on the following topics:

- Develop expertise in steam cracker simulation tools.
- Develop automation tools for extracting data from simulations.
- Standardize typical process documentation for gas steam crackers, based on reference projects.
- Perform equipment sizing for a typical diagram.
- Apply the tools and documentation developed to ongoing projects or reference projects.
- Write an operating manual for the new tool and ensure its distribution, if necessary.

Required profile:

What we expect from you:
- Currently enrolled in a four- or five-year degree program
- You have solid knowledge of process engineering, energy balance, and mass balance
- You have a strong appetite for innovation, particularly in technology and digital, and are able to work independently and synthesize information when conducting research.
- You are curious, rigorous, organized, and creative.
- You have good communication skills.
- You have a working knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen Hysys is a plus.

During this internship, you will be supported by a mentor who will answer any questions you may have. This internship will be an opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge.
