This Position reports to:
Continuous Improvement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of constant learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to operational excellence and improved results. You will also showcase your leadership skills by deploying and leading projects to enhance and sustain local business performance.

The work model for the role is on-site. #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Power Protection manufacturing department in Quartino.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Aligning local continuous improvement strategies with ABB's global initiatives, ensuring consistent execution and measurable impact.
• Implementing operational excellence strategies in safety, lean production system, Internal PPAP, and cost through cross-functional collaboration.
• Supporting capability building by developing and delivering targeted training modules and toolkits tailored to local business needs.
• Managing product and process development across departments and suppliers, including PFMEA, production line setup, tooling, and line feeding of material.

Qualifications for the role

• Master's in Business Engineering and Production (or equivalent) and Green Belt certified.
• 2+ years in production engineering, specializing in Power Electronics assemblies.
• Proficient in continuous improvement tools like FMEA, Lean, 5S, Yamazumi, VSM, and ABC XYZ analysis etc.
• Experienced with SAP, BOM analysis, and work cycle optimization.
• Skilled in project cost evaluation and capital investment justification.
• Safety-focused, with dedicated commitment to workplace safety standards.
• Fluent in Italian, advanced English, both written and spoken, being a collaborative, solution-driven communicator.
