JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of process engineering deliverables for concept and FEED studies.
  • Manage and coordinate teams of process engineers throughout study phases, ensuring quality and timely delivery of process deliverables.
  • Evaluate and select oil & gas topsides processing technologies, with a focus on:
    • Separation systems (oil/gas/water).
    • Produced water treatment and reinjection/disposal solutions.
    • Gas treatment and dehydration systems.
    • Utility and support systems (cooling, heating, fuel, and chemicals).
  • Prepare process simulations, flow diagrams (PFDs), heat & material balances, and equipment sizing.
  • Provide input into cost, schedule, and risk evaluations during early project phases.
  • Support technology assessments, vendor evaluations, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, safety) to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the broader team.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5-15 years of experience in process engineering within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven knowledge of topsides processing technologies in separation, produced water, gas dehydration, and utility systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading process engineering teams during conceptual and FEED studies.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, PRO/II).
  • Experience in front end engineering design (FEED) and conceptual studies.
  • Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices (API, ISO, ASME, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with offshore facilities, FPSOs, or onshore processing plants.
  • Familiarity with advanced water treatment or low-emission gas processing technologies.
  • Experience interacting directly with clients and presenting technical findings.
