This Position reports to:
R&D Team Lead
Your role and responsibilities
Working in a brand-new Agile organization, you will execute tests on different devices using your knowledge of standard references and testing methodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance.
In this role, you will analyze and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, and equipment and instrumentation to be used.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Business area in particular for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo Main stakeholder is the Research and Development Department.

Your role and responsibilities

This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Business area in particular for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo Main stakeholder is the Research and Development Department.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Planning and implementing test plan, assigning the right priority and overseeing the allocated resources.
- Training new team members in test operations and processes.
- Preparing, reviewing, managing and updating documents and databases.
- Proposing improvements to test techniques based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment.
- Certification of electronic devices and collaboration with external laboratories in carrying out this specific activity.
- Certification of industrial protocol of communication, verification of application and coordination and supervisioning.
- Ensuring that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed, and activities are thoroughly reported.

Qualifications for the role
- You hold at least a bachelor's degree in electronical or electrical engineering.
- Ability to built up a complex system with protocol of communication.
- You have knowledge of instrumentation and electronic/electrical systems.
- You are qualified in executing buildup of set up and system of testing
- You have a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English language
