As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and support employees in the assigned area to achieve operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost, and People (SQDC). You will ensure the execution of daily operations with a focus on reliability, consistency, and meeting customer demand while achieving on-time delivery targets.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Safety and Quality Focus:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
  • Drive adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions to address any deviations


Team Management:
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members to achieve operational goals
  • Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and accountability while promoting professional growth and development


Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line
  • Monitor and optimize production flow to meet customer demand and achieve on-time delivery targets


Problem Solving and Decision Making:
  • Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve production issues effectively
  • Make informed decisions with a focus on short- and medium-term impact to improve operational performance


Continuous Improvement:
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes, and enhance efficiency
  • Lead initiatives to drive process improvements and achieve measurable results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost (SQDC)


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Previous and solid experience in manufacturing
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and instructions
  • Knowledge of machining & post machining processes
  • Strong team building skills
  • Basic English and Italian language knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required


Desired Characteristics :
  • Previous experience in LPT (Low Pressure Turbine) casings and M&I (Marine & Industrial) Frames
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be considered a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute assignments to ensure successful completion within defined timelines and quality standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost (SQDC) objectives
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to apply them to drive process improvements, eliminate waste, and optimize production efficiency
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives that align with organizational goals and enhance operational performance
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex processes, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive results
  • Ability to engage and motivate team members, promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement
