This Position reports to:
Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Demand Planner within ABB Process Automation's Process Control Platform (PCP), you will play a key role in securing material availability and enhancing supplier performance to support our Planning & Fulfillment Center in Västerås. You will be responsible for managing the full demand cycle - from purchase order to invoice - while maintaining close collaboration with global suppliers and internal stakeholders. With a focus on proactive planning and continuous improvement, you will contribute to optimized inventory levels and forecasts, strong supplier relationships, and efficient supply chain operations across international networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full material planning process, including purchase orders, order follow-up, delivery tracking, and invoice resolution.
  • Monitor and secure material availability, addressing both short- and long-term shortages.
  • Drive inventory optimization while maintaining high service levels and participating in improvement initiatives.
  • Manage demand forecast. Collaborate with the demand forecasting team to analyze variations and implement the customers' demand in the ERP.
  • Generate and analyze supplier forecasts monthly. Evaluate variations and review the need to balance global stocks.
  • Take part in redesign projects, representing Planning & Fulfillment in the project team.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Degree in Supply chain/Logistics or other relevant work experience is preferable.
  • Experience from work with demand planning is meritorious.
  • Satisfactory knowledge and experience in Excel with the ability to analyze data.
  • SAP experience is meritorious.
  • Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.
  • You are a structured team player with good learning capability. You are curious and enjoy exploring, developing and improving processes continuously.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing.
