As a Junior Engineer on the Advanced Technology Thermal Systems Design team, you will support the thermal design and analysis of engine components, including heat exchangers and rotor-stator components. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to new technology development projects for jet engines. In this role, you will build your knowledge and competencies to identify problems, develop solutions, and demonstrate strong thermal design and analytical skills.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Perform thermal design, analysis, and evaluation for assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards and product/program requirements
  • Participate in development of thermal design and contribute to design maturation for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional design teams and subject-matter experts to meet project goals and schedules
  • Exchange technical information effectively, promote open dialogue, and ask clarifying questions to solve problems
  • Prepare and present technical data and results for internal and external reviews, with clear rationale and evidence
  • Document technical data, analyses, and decisions in accordance with engineering policies, procedures, and configuration control requirements

Required Qualifications
  • MSc/BSc in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Understanding of heat transfer and fluid mechanics
  • Ability to effectively communicate within the team
  • Good level of English
