If you are a Embedded Hardware Firmware Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Embedded Hardware Firmware Engineer responsible for new product development and legacy product sustaining of flow and density transmitter. We value Customer Orientation, Continuous Learning, Team Working, Smooth Communication, and above all, the ability to finish task independently and efficiently.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop embedded firmware for flowmeter(transmitter) using C/C++ and assembly language (Boot, RTOS, DSP, PID control etc.)
- Legacy products sustaining and support
- Prepare related document for development and release process
- Work with agency for industrial communication protocal certificate like HART, ProfiBus, ProfiNet etc.
- Provide technical support to other teams include Operation, Quality and Customer etc.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- 3-5 years of recent design experience with coding of microprocessor and DSP based embedded systems using C/C++. Experience must include coding in a Real-Time, Multi-tasking, interrupt driven environment using a RTOS with emphasis in software-hardware interface development and integration.
- 4-6 weeks per year for training and customer visits as required (10%)
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency with C/C++ for embedded, microcontroller based systems
- Proficiency with development tools such as compilers, emulators/JTAG, debuggers.
- Proficiency with IAR platform
- Proficiency with the use of test equipment, such as logic analyzers, serial data analyzers, oscilloscopes
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Experience with Green Hills IDE and Analog Devices Blackfin Digital Signal Processors considered a plus
- Familiar with HART/PROFIBUS/CANS/MODBUS protocol as a major plus
