We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our consultant team in the UAE. The successful candidate will lead programme planning, scheduling, and progress oversight for major infrastructure projects, ensuring that EPC contractors Program of Works (PoW) is fully reviewed, challenged, and optimized.

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our consultant team in the UAE. The successful candidate will lead programme planning, scheduling, and progress oversight for major infrastructure projects, ensuring that EPC contractors Program of Works (PoW) is fully reviewed, challenged, and optimized.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and challenge EPC contractors' baseline and updated Program of Works (Primavera P6).
- Analyse programme logic, sequencing, resource allocation, and critical/near-critical paths.
- Identify schedule risks, unrealistic durations, and opportunities for resequencing or acceleration.
- Monitor progress vs. baseline and prepare schedule forecasts, dashboards, and executive reports.
- Support delay analysis, EoT assessments, and contractual time-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and authorities to resolve programme/interface issues.
- Lead programme review meetings and advise the Client/Employer on schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; Masters preferred.
- 10+ years of planning experience with strong consultant/PMC background in the UAE.
- Proven experience in major infrastructure projects (roads, highways, bridges, tunnels).
- Expert user of Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of UAE construction methodologies, authority standards, and FIDIC contracts.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
