In this role you will be responsible for setting overarching standards and governance for Mergers and Acquisitions activities and processes in the global HR systems delivery organization. You will support M&A transactions by assessing whether the business requirements can be delivered by the HR delivery organisation, within the required timeframe, cost base and SLA's.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for setting overarching standards and governance for Mergers and Acquisitions activities and processes in the global HR systems delivery organization. You will support M&A transactions by assessing whether the business requirements can be delivered by the HR delivery organisation, within the required timeframe, cost base and SLA's.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Managing HR systems and functional requirements to support different demands for M&A transactions in HR services delivery organization.
- Collaborating and driving the implementation of the HR systems solutions, together with stakeholders in the HR M&A team, the HR functions, HRXP and HR Operations organisation.
- Setting up standard practices to support M&A transactions and understanding the broader ABB M&A impacts on the HR organization processes, technology, applications and data.
- Building and delivering M&A services in HR function according to M&A pipeline of projects with a customer-centric approach to drive activities that follow standardized approaches. Intervenes, where necessary, to reduce risks to M&A deal closing and business continuity.
- Verifying and reviewing with functional leads what technical options are there to support non-standard organizational setups and functionalities (e.g. during divestiture).
- Developing insights and proposals to improve business value, integrating demand management with complementary strategic, operational, and change management processes to support the successful delivery of M&A services in the HR function.
- Ensuring that the HR services in M&A transactions are delivered on time, within budget, scope, and as per quality standards from early-stage scouting, due diligence, integration/separation planning and execution, deal-closing, and Transition Service Agreement (TSA) execution.
- Representing M&A within the HR systems organisation, ensuring that whenever new process/ functionalities are developed, the impact on existing and future M&A transactions is acknowledged and mitigated. Taking action within the HR organisation and HR M&A Team to optimize where possible, to reduce cost and complexity to provide M&A related services.
Qualifications for the role
- HR systems implementation experience.
- HR functional knowledge and HR processes experience, extensive M&A experience is not a requirement and can be developed on the job.
- High standards in communication with various levels of stakeholders, including advocating for the budget, timeline and technical requirements for the HR systems organization.
- Ability to constructively challenge feedback from colleagues and expected deliverables.
- Ability to support multiple projects and deadlines, without being the overall project manager of the M&A transactions.
- Process improvement & optimization.
