Job intent
Provide subsea engineering expertise and judgement, demonstrating data and digital tools to enhance global subsea monitoring & surveillance, enhance inspection practices, and deliver safe, Adherent and efficient operations.
What you will deliver
Conduct proactive surveillance and performance monitoring of global subsea systems to identify anomalies, vulnerabilities, and optimisation opportunities.
Analyse subsea data and generate actionable insights to support regional teams and drive operational improvements.
Maintain and enhance critical subsea monitoring tools and datasets, ensuring reliability and accessibility for global users.
Support optimisation of inspection intervals and condition-based monitoring, embedding insights into RBI and risk management processes.
Partner actively with Subsea Operations Engineers and multi-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
Develop benchmarks and dashboards to supervise performance, highlight trends, and inform decision-making.
See opportunities to improve monitoring methodologies, data pipelines, and digital tools, driving continuous improvement.
Summary decision rights
Complete subsea monitoring and surveillance priorities to protect subsea production and integrity.
Recommend data-driven insights and performance improvements to regional subsea engineers and field leads.
Provide feedback to subsea integrity management, inspection, and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) processes through analysis of condition monitoring data.
Recommend enhancements to digital tools, data quality, and integration methods that improve efficiency and reliability of monitoring.
Support the identification and delivery of opportunities that drive measurable OPEX reduction and value creation through data-driven engineering.

Education
BEng/BSc (or international equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline; MEng/MSc preferred.
Experience and job requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in subsea systems operation.
Strong foundation in subsea systems operation, surveillance, or design.
Familiarity with a wide range of subsea equipment and its operation (e.g. subsea control modules, HPUs, umbilicals, chokes).
Interest or experience in using data and digital tools to improve reliability, integrity, or efficiency.
Experience supporting subsea operations, maintenance, or fixing activities.
Awareness of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) principles and condition monitoring practices.
Familiarity with digital and analytics tools (e.g. Palantir, Power BI) is advantageous but not essential.
Collaborative, curious, and motivated to solve real engineering problems and deliver measurable business value.
Travel Requirement
Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
