This Position reports to:
Order Handling Manager

I n this role, you will have the opportunity to p lan, coordinate, and execute all activities commencing through the process of order acceptance, booking, shipping, payment collection and after Sales Warranty shipment. Prepare purchase requisitions for finished goods. Focus is orders are scheduled correctly and shipped on time.

The work model for the role is #LI-Hybrid based in Genova plant.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Order Entry: processing new orders after reviewing content, pricing, and all pertinent business data for ABB financial reporting.
  • Purchasing: prepare purchase requisitions for finished goods, according to make-to-order model
  • Shipments: responsible for preparing invoices and other documentation required for export shipments.
  • Make all transportation arrangements with Freight Forwarder.
  • Import/Export: plan, coordinate, and execute all export and import operation activities in compliance with IT/EU and foreign regulations.
  • Customer requests: recommend appropriate solutions for customer requests, and coordinate with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production scheduling, price lists, invoice) is in place.
  • Customer relations: builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction
  • Targets: on time delivery measurement


Qualifications:
  • You hold a diploma or a bachelor degree in business, economic or management
  • Knowledge of SAP, Trade compliance or Shipping activities would be considered plus
  • Good predisposition to team work and collaboration is mandatory
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and specifically Excel
  • Sense of self accountability, Problem solving, Precision and awareness of deadlines
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
