As a QHSE Engineer, you will play a key role in promoting and implementing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across onshore and offshore operations. You will support projects and departments in maintaining compliance with international standards and company policies, ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment.

Function description

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and improve QHSE management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISM).
  • Provide QHSE support during tendering, project execution, and vessel operations.
  • Conduct internal and external audits and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for projects and operations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and prepare safety reports.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective actions from audits and safety meetings.
  • Liaise with project teams and vessel crews to share lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with changes in legislation and industry standards.


Requirements

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in QHSE within offshore, marine, or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S management systems and risk management strategies.
  • Recognized safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, Dutch HVK/IVK, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel offshore as required.
