Your role and responsibilities
As part of the Transport Management Center (TMC) Customs Team you will supervise local import/export operations.
Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

Your role and responsibilities
As part of the Transport Management Center (TMC) Customs Team you will supervise local import/export operations.
Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
- Acting as point of contact for customs brokers in case of clarification needs (e.g., regarding valuation or classification of products).
- Auditing customs brokers regarding the correctness of customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
- Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
- Maintaining and sharing with colleagues, as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restriction
Qualifications for the Role
- You are skilled in SAP (SAP GTS Customs Module is a plus), and you enjoy working within the global trade and transportation market.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in customs compliance and international trade operations; you have at least 2 years of experience in global trade management.
- You are passionate about problem-solving and captivated by process optimization, and you are innovative around stakeholder communication and regulatory compliance.
- You have a Diploma or bachelor's degree in international Trade, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration, with proven experience in customs regulations and import/export procedures.
- You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all cross-border transactions.
