This role bridges business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that system enhancements, integrations, and new applications are thoroughly tested and aligned with operational needs
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Test Planning & Strategy
- Analyze business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Define test scope, approach, resources, timelines, and entry/exit criteria.
- Participate in requirement and design review sessions to identify gaps or risks.
Test Execution
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Document test results, defects, and inconsistencies with clear replication steps and impact analysis.
- Validate data accuracy, system workflows, and end-to-end processes.
Defect Management
- Log and track defects using test management or project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Sharepoint etc).
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to diagnose root causes and verify fixes.
- Prioritize defects based on business risk and urgency.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test data, guiding business users, and resolving issues.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Champion best practices in testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to testing frameworks, automation opportunities, and QA processes.
- Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements when applicable.
Who you are?
- Ability to interpret business and technical requirements into practical test scenarios.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. .
For this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Proficiency with Oracle & testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Sharepoint).
- 1-2 years' experience in Business systems, workflows, Oracle (preferable)
