Your Role and Responsibilities

Qualifications for the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global PO Execution & Tracking: Issue purchase orders accurately and timely to qualified global suppliers based on MRP/MPS requirements, focus on imported materials: Manage the entire process of international POs, including supplier shipment, international transportation (air/ocean), customs clearance, and domestic delivery. Proactively identify and alert potential delivery delays or logistics risks, coordinating internal and external resources to develop and implement countermeasures.
  • Global Supplier Communication & Management: Act as the primary point of contact for daily communication with international suppliers, possessing excellent cross-cultural communication skills to interact clearly and professionally via email, phone, and video conferences. Confirm order details, delivery schedules, and documentation requirements (e.g., B/L, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice/Packing List) with international suppliers.
  • Import/Export & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with company-appointed freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure all import documents are accurate and complete, facilitating a smooth and timely customs clearance process. Track international shipment status, estimate ETAs for port and plant, and update internal systems promptly.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Production Planning to dynamically adjust material priorities based on production schedules and material arrival forecasts. Coordinate with the Quality department to handle non-conforming materials identified during IQC, leading the return and replacement processes with suppliers.
  • System Data Maintenance & Reporting: Maintain PO status, delivery dates, and receipt data accurately and timely in the corporate ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Generate and analyze KPI reports, such as On-Time Delivery rate, Supplier OTD, and Import Order Cycle Time.


Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably International trade / Business management major
  • >6 Years of experience in procurement follow-up, order management, or supply chain execution in a manufacturing environment, including experience handling imported materials.
  • Business communication skills, capable of using English as a working language for proficient written and verbal communication with international suppliers.
  • Proficient in ERP systems; experience with SAP MM module is a plus.
  • Ability to work in systematic and structured manner to ensure tasks are performed efficiently with minimal use of resources, time and effort.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Analytical and influence others, drive self-learning and keep continuous Improvement.
    • Result oriented and taking ownership.
    • Teamwork spirit and good communication & coordination skills
