Our goal is to be the best energy transition utility, and we have an ambition to reach net zero emissions by 2045. In Australia, this includes flexible power generation, energy retail services for homes and businesses, advanced energy management solutions, and a growing portfolio of future-focused projects - from hydrogen and battery storage to wind and solar developments.

About the Role

As a key member of our Technical Services Team, the Stability Technician plays a vital role in ensuring mine safety and supporting operational decision-making. • Inspect, maintain, and repair monitoring points and instruments as required.
  • Assist in planning, designing, and enhancing monitoring systems.
  • Manage stability data and databases to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Participate in audits and quality assurance checks of monitoring systems.
  • Download, prepare, and analyse data for geotechnical reporting and issue resolution.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and adhere to ENGIE's HS&E policies and procedures.

About You
  • Certificate IV in Engineering (desirable).
  • Practical understanding of stability monitoring systems with field-based geotechnical or hydrogeological experience.
  • Ability to maintain monitoring installations, databases, and data collection systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
  • Proven experience in mining or construction environments with a focus on safety.
  • Proficiency in data management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
