Mud logging Intern

The Mud logging Intern supports in collecting, preparing, and documenting geological rock cuttings and fluid samples. This requires strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting drilling cuttings at designated depth intervals under the guidance of experienced personnel.
• Support in washing, drying, and preparing samples for geological analysis, including screening and portioning as directed.
• Help with labeling, documentation, and proper storage of samples according to established procedures and requirements.
• Provide support in maintaining accurate records and logs of sampling activities, including data entry into digital platforms or spreadsheets.
• Assist with cleaning and basic upkeep of sampling tools and laboratory equipment, and support routine maintenance checks under supervision.
• Offer general assistance to mud loggers, wellsite geologists, and data engineers, including during rig-up/rig-down activities.
• Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines while supporting operational tasks.
• Communicate promptly with team members to relay observations or anomalies

Experiences & Exposures

• Diploma / Certificate in a technical field (2-3 years).
• Basic knowledge of geology and drilling processes.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
