Job Title: PTW Coordinator
Location: Offshore Congo
Job Description:
Experience as PTW coordinator on FPSO/FPU
Develop and prepare the PTW procedure for business unit & at corporate level.
• Prepare the work permits dossier with respect to work orders and maintenance plans.
• The main task of this role is to co-ordinate and manage the relevant work permits and certificates
necessary to operate in controlled areas, ensuring that permits have all the required documentation,
certification and approval signatures by all concerns.
• Liaise with the performing parties at the planning phase to complete the Permit Review/Screening to
ensure an appropriate level of risk assessment is performed. Identify activities that conflict with other
work and that such hazards are identified and that steps are being undertaken to analyze and
implement mitigations.
• Participate in daily permit to work meetings, update and circulate list of next day's planned work
activities with relative order and priority. Keep up-to-date daily register of PTW's, supplementary
certificates, audits and performance statistics.
• Brief Area authorities on next day's permits for authorization ensuring no conflicts with any relevant
(new) Standing Instructions or operational situations.
• Perform spot-checks on the correct execution of permitted work activities in compliance with PTW
procedure and other company procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct routine PTW audits and assumes role as focal point for PTW audits.
• Maintains daily permits log, listing the permit types issuance, location and scope of work.
• Track work permits through the entire life cycle from initiation to completion / close out.
• Track and advise line management for overdue or expired permits, certificates, forms and maintain
records and hard copies of all PTW documentation as per document retention policy.
• Identify ways to improve PTW process and system regarding safety, effectiveness & efficiency and
propose improvements to Line management.
• Actively monitored SIMOPS activities & manage PTWs according to the defined SIMOPS Matrix.
• Ensure no work without Permit and compliance of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Development of PTW statistics, KPIs management, behavior based data development and
corrective actions record management related to PTWs.
