Requirements
- Manage the Plant's Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain API Q1, ISO 9001, and API 16AR certifications and compliance.
- Provide guidance for developing quality procedures in Rig Technologies and ensure compliance with global, product, legal, and customer requirements.
- Manage internal and external audits, and monitor and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), ensuring proper root cause methodology and recurrence prevention via the Intelex system.
- Support the implementation and lead continuous improvement projects, including global Quality initiatives, and support other departments in process mapping and problem-solving using quality tools.
- Reduce the Cost of Quality by working with operations and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD), while continuously monitoring the level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage and coordinate all team activities, including training, development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and setting performance goals for the department, while managing department budgets and expenses.
- Manage activities related to Documentation Specialists, ensuring proper inspection reports, databooks, and equipment certifications.
- Collaborate with the QC Manager to monitor Metrology activities, ensuring appropriate condition of measuring instruments and controls, and monitor daily shop floor issues for quick rectification.
- Support the qualification and reassessment of critical suppliers and ensure proper records in the current system.
Perform periodic Management Reviews as per NOV procedures, demonstrate leadership on customer inquiries/visits, and collaborate with other functional departments in problem-solving and preparing reports.
Requirements
- Higher education in Administration, Engineering or related areas;
- MBA/Postgraduate degree in Administration, Engineering or related areas is desirable;
- API Q1 and ISO 9001 training required;
- Training in Continuous Improvement Methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, QRM, Lean Manufacturing, among others);
- Training in Quality Management System Standards;
- Solid experience as a Quality Manager and/or Coordinator in other companies;
- Advanced English (will be tested)
- Spanish will be considered a plus
