Description:

You will be part of the European Customer Service team in which you will be responsible for France. You are the point of contact for external customers and internal departments, and you deliver fast and reliable communication and follow-up orders. In addition, you will give administrative support to our sales force in France.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Manage and process daily customer orders using the company's ERP system (JD Edwards).
  • Advise our customers on the product range and open orders via telephone and e-mail.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure the accuracy of orders and offers.
  • Build and maintain special product files in the company's specific system.
  • Verify compliance with company regulations regarding order approval and secure necessary approvals.
  • Monitor order status regularly and communicate delivery timelines and updates to clients through email or phone.
  • Assist clients with any order-related issues, including pricing, delivery times and logistics, distribution center.
  • Work alongside internal departments such as sales, logistics, and quality assurance to gather additional information and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Prepare documentation for order shipments, ensuring adherence to current delivery Incoterms.
  • Generate reports on order statuses and customer interactions as part of your portfolio management.

  • You are an excellent communicator who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Your organizational skills and eye for detail enable you to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of handling complex order-related issues with integrity and perseverance.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a commercial, customer-focused, and international Customer Service team.
  • Highly customer- and results-oriented, with a structured approach to prioritizing tasks and adherence to Emerson Professional Tools procedures and guidelines
  • Fluent French speaker and good communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, proficient in computer skills and highly skilled in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Willingness to take initiative and seek innovative solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Technical interest would be an advantage but is not required
  • Working on bank holidays may be required (only applicable for Romania).
