As part of the O&A Learning Operations team, the Skills Portfolio Advisors primary accountability is to build strong partnerships with the Learning CoE team in translating project requirements into a delivering a seamless learner experience. These requirements include the implementation of content into the Learning Management System (Cornerstone) as well as projects which that support leaning within bp. This role reports directly to the Learning Operations Lead.

Key Accountabilities and challenges
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business partners, ensuring their learning operations needs are understood and met.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Learning operations and internal business units.

Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong collaborations to understand their learning needs, strategic priorities, and performance goals, ensuring their requirements are incorporated into learning operations.
- Conduct monthly governance calls with the partner of the portfolio and SPA lead on performance of the portfolio (Incoming demand, status of current demand, cost and finance matters, issues and concerns, way forward and feedback).
Operations Management
- Address and resolve challenges related to learning operations, ensuring smooth operations end-to-end.
- Collaborate with the CoE to understand and plan the demand for learning operations. Ensure that work is allocated efficiently to meet business needs.
- Regularly review and analyze learning sessions, cases and cost. Provide detailed monthly reports on performance metrics to help drive continuous improvement.
- Keep the learning offers up-to-date and accurately represented. Provide comprehensive support to ensure the platform's learning operations run smoothly.
- Supervise the financial aspects of learning sessions, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Ensure purchase orders are processed timely and accurately.
- Ensure payment process for third party vendor follows bp's financial code 'guideline'.
- Identify and handle risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies related to learning services. Ensure that potential problems are addressed proactively.
Continuous Improvement and Projects
- Support and drive O&A initiatives by collaborating with the OpEx team through various project work streams and networking channels.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Agile frameworks. Ensure timely delivery of projects within set quality standards and mitigate risks throughout.
- Build and maintain scalable knowledge of the required portfolio through various process maps, SOPs, and learning aids.
Technology and Vendor Management
- Supervise the integration of new technologies and tools into learning operations to enhance service delivery. Ensure that technology solutions align with learning operations for any future integrations between tools used by Learning operations.
- Act as a single point of contact for the portfolio for all vendor management queries and decisions.
- Coach and guide team members on technical skills, functional skills and different processes for specific portfolios.

- Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies in corporate learning and professional development
Qualifications, Competencies & Mindset
What you will need:
- 8 years of overall working experience
- 6 years of working exp in the learning domain, strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and enterprise learning technologies.
- 3 years of working experience with financial tools, systems and procedures, financial accounting concept and reporting, financial analysis, budgeting and charge-back practices.
- Degree or equivalent desirable
- Strong customer service skills
- Knows when to seek support from other subject leaders during critical issues
- Numeracy & analytical thinking - able to quickly and optimally generate and analyse a range of data to provide accurate and timely information to advise business decisions
- Excellent personal organisational skills - good balance of being proactive and reactive; ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks on time
