About the Role

We are looking for a highly structured, proactive, and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our global Document Control team as part of a maternity cover. In this role, you will manage, organize, and control project and operational documentation across SPS, ensuring accuracy, traceability, compliance, and timely delivery. You will play a key part in our ongoing documentation system transformation, while also supporting standardization initiatives and guiding colleagues across multiple sites.

This position is essential in maintaining our quality standards, supporting customer expectations, and contributing to continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and standardize project and operational documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement rigorous version control and uphold internal and external document quality standards.
  • Ensure all documentation is delivered according to customer specifications and internal procedures.
  • Develop, update, and maintain RigDoc procedures, guidelines, and document templates.
  • Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on document control processes and systems.
  • Support tender phases by reviewing customer documentation requirements and identifying potential gaps.
  • Contribute to the standardization of documentation systems across SPS and support the ongoing transformation to new platforms.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Document Control within engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Relevant education in Business Administration, Information Management, or similar.
  • Document Control certification (required).
  • Strong understanding of document management systems, version control, data governance, and quality processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across functions (Engineering, Quality, Projects, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills in English (Danish is a plus).
  • High computer literacy, including experience with modern enterprise systems and digital tools.
